By downloading or using Fit for Two™ ("the app"), you agree to these terms.
Fit for Two is a fitness app made by Babbling Comet. It generates workout suggestions, lets you log your workouts, and lets you share progress with one other person — a partner or a friend — through Apple's iCloud service.
Fit for Two is not a medical device, a medical service, or a licensed trainer. The workout plans, intensity cues, nutrition prompts, and personal-record celebrations are generated automatically from the information you enter. They are suggestions, not prescriptions.
Talk to your doctor before starting a new exercise program, especially if you have a heart condition, are pregnant, are recovering from an injury or surgery, have high blood pressure, or any other condition that could be affected by exercise. Stop if something hurts.
By using the app you confirm that you are physically able to exercise and that you accept the ordinary risks of physical activity.
Fit for Two does not operate its own servers or user accounts. Your profile, workouts, and partner sharing live inside your own iCloud account under your control. See the Privacy Policy for details on what the app stores and shares.
You are responsible for keeping your iCloud account secure.
The app lets you invite exactly one other person to share progress with you. The share runs through Apple's CloudKit service. You and your partner are responsible for what you choose to share and with whom you share it. If a partnership ends, use Settings → Leave partnership to revoke access.
Don't use the app in a way that is illegal, harmful, or that violates another person's rights. Don't use it to harass, impersonate, or share material about another person without their consent. The app includes an optional "spicy" prompt mode that is tasteful and non-explicit; even so, do not share screenshots of it with anyone who hasn't opted in.
We may update these terms. If we do, we will update the "Last updated" date and, where the change is material, show a notice in the app.
You can stop using the app and delete it at any time. We can terminate access if you misuse the app in a way that endangers others or breaks these terms.
The app is provided "as is" and without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Babbling Comet is not liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of your use of the app, including injury from exercise. Nothing in these terms limits any liability that cannot be limited under applicable law (for example, liability for willful misconduct or for personal injury caused by gross negligence).
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Contra Costa County, California.
