Fit for Two™ ("Fit for Two", "we", "us") is a fitness app made by Babbling Comet for you and one other person — a partner or workout buddy — to train together. This policy explains, in plain language, what the app does and does not do with your information.
We don't run a server. Nothing you enter leaves your iPhone except what you choose to share with your partner through Apple's iCloud, and what you choose to save to Apple Health or Apple Calendar. We do not sell your data, show you ads, track you across other apps, or share anything with third parties for advertising, analytics, or any other purpose.
The app stores the following on your iPhone, using Apple's SwiftData local database:
This data stays on your device unless you explicitly turn on one of the integrations below.
If you allow it, the app reads the following from Apple Health to pre-fill your profile and show weight-trend charts:
bodyMass)height)bodyMassIndex)If you allow it, the app writes the following to Apple Health so your activity rings reflect what you did in Fit for Two:
HKWorkout) — kind, start/end timeactiveEnergyBurned) estimated from the workoutYou can grant or revoke any of these permissions at any time in Settings → Health → Data Access & Devices → Fit for Two. The app does not use any of this information for advertising, does not share it with third parties, and does not send it to any Fit for Two or Babbling Comet server (there isn't one).
If you turn on Settings → Add to Apple Calendar, the app writes your upcoming workout events to a calendar you choose. Nothing is read from your other calendars. You can revoke access at any time in iOS Settings.
To share progress with your partner, Fit for Two uses Apple's CloudKit service under your own iCloud account:
Reminders you schedule (workout reminders, weekly weigh-in) are local notifications generated on your own device. Nothing is sent through any remote server.
When your partner finishes a workout, Fit for Two receives a silent push from Apple's CloudKit; the device fetches the new workout summary from the shared zone and shows you a local notification with the result. No data about you is sent to Apple or anyone else beyond what Apple needs to deliver the push itself.
If you choose to pick or take an avatar photo, iOS asks you for permission. The photo lives on your device and in the shared iCloud zone (so your partner can see it). It is not uploaded anywhere else.
None.
Fit for Two subscribes to Apple's MetricKit service so that if the app crashes or hangs, iOS writes a diagnostic payload (stack trace, no personal content) to the device, which the app can read the next time it launches. These payloads are stored on your device only. They are not sent to Babbling Comet or any third party unless you email a copy to us at the support address below.
If you choose to email us a diagnostic report, that email contains only the stack trace information iOS produced — no workout data, no HealthKit data, no photos.
Fit for Two is intended for adults and older teens who can safely follow a strength-training program. The app does not collect data from children or market to children. If you believe a child has used the app, email the support address and we will help you delete the data.
Because Fit for Two uses your iCloud account directly, there is no separate "Fit for Two account" to delete. To erase the data the app has created:
If we change this policy, we will update the "Last updated" date above and, where the change is material, show a notice in the app the next time you open it.
